Storage methods

Your casks, your way

Customers supply their own pallets, racking or dunnage. We advise on layout so the space works for everyone.

Palletised

Casks upright, six to a pallet, stacked six high at the sides and up to seven under the ridge. The densest way to use the floor, and quick to move by forklift.

Racked

Casks on their side in customer-supplied racking. Easier to sample and rotate individual casks, at a lower density per square metre.

Dunnage

The traditional way: casks on their side, low on timber rails. For the slow, old-school mature, with space priced to suit.

Ways to take it

Whole site or a share of it

Mount Leinster Distillers holds the bond as proprietor warehousekeeper, so you never need a bond of your own. More on how it works.

Option A

Single tenant, both units

Take the whole of Unit 2 and Unit 3. We manage it for you, or you run your own stock as tenant warehousekeeper under our authorisation.

Option B

Shared space, fully managed

Space let by the cask, the pallet or the bay to several customers, from a single pallet up. We do the handling and paperwork; you see it all in the portal.
